Do you want to understand the individuals in your family better? Do you, as a parent or parents, want the best for each person in your family but you’re not quite sure how to support them? Would you like to take the mystery out of improving your interactions and connection with each other? Maybe, you would like to know what motivates and drives each person? Your AWESOME Family will help you with this!

No one is exactly the same and one size does not fit all, as I’m sure you’ve experienced. That can make things challenging and frustrating at times, even when we have the best intentions. What lights one person up causes the next one to react. The thing that makes one kid happy makes the next one sad. One needs more choices and the other one needs less. So what do you do? How can you know how to support each person in your family with all your different approaches to life? We understand. We’ve been here too as a couple who’s parenting our four kids. But don’t worry. There is hope!

We started out trying to support our kids all in the same way. We tried to motivate them, and each other, in the ways that we are motivated. But that didn’t work very well. We had some miscommunications and frustrations that were experienced by all of us. We decided it was time for a different approach. 

I, Jason, had already begun to explore personality and how that influences the way we see things. I was being trained and educated in it with a focus on organizational team building. But, as Esther and I got more excited about what I was learning and began applying it personally in our own lives, we also began using it in our family. We started using that understanding in our marriage and our parenting. The results that we’ve experienced in our family have been amazing. We began to understand how each of us approaches life. We now know why we do certain things and the strengths that each person has because of how we are wired. We know how we prefer to communicate and what supports and motivates each of us. This has removed the guesswork and the feel of not being sure about what to do for each other. It has also allowed us to help each person feel celebrated in their unique personality style. We’ve also been able to help a lot of families, with different structures and ages, to understand each other better. It’s not too late, or too early, for you to experience this too. We would love to help you and your family to be able to understand how AWESOME you are and how to support each other better.

Here’s our approach. We believe that there is so much value in each person’s style of greatness and their personality is a part of this. So, we first focus on helping each person understand themselves and have confidence in how they are wired. Then, we begin to help you see where you all are different and similar. We show you how you compliment each other with your differences and where you can use each other’s strengths. We also help everyone to see how each person prefers to communicate and why.

What you get with Your AWESOME Family:

4 - DISC Personality Tests (any combination of adult (ages 13+) and child (ages 8-12) assessments). ***If you have children under the age of 8 then an assessment is not ideal. We will help you to figure out the dominate style & create their video around that.

A personalized video made for each person to bring understanding about their personality style as an individual. For younger kids, it will be made for the parent to help you to understand their style.

A personalized video made for you as the parent/parents to help you to better understand the family dynamic & how you can support the different personality styles.
